Two rare clinical observations of metastatic lesions of the spinal cord of duffuse and intamedullary localization in patients with lung cancer are presented. The leading method of diagnosis of secondary spinal cord injury is magnetic resonance imaging. Hyperintensity of focal lesions on T2, T2fs images, impaired diffusion on DWI, hyperfixation of a paramagnet in foci in T1fs images, intramedullary localization, spread over the spinal cord membranes, nerve roots are the main MR semiotics of secondary lesions. As a rule, the lesion of the spinal cord is preceded by a metastatic lesion of the brain.
