Macro- and microanatomy of cattle `s blind intestine

At large horned livestock three most often met forms of a blind gut are revealed: cylindrical, in the form of a mace and the form of a sand-glass. With the years the blind gut undergoes the changes bound to a thickening of its side and formation of circular thickenings which play the special role in the biomechanic of a gut. Mucous, submcous, muscular and serous covers within two years of life become thicker in 3,1, 2,8, 2,1 and 3,3 times accordingly.
