Small business in the modern economy

The article examines the processes of development of small business structures in the modern economy. The most important social and economic tasks solved by small businesses in society are highlighted. It is noted that small business makes a great contribution to increasing the employment of the population of modern states, its income and, accordingly, its level of well-being. The role of the state in the development of small business in Russia is determined, the main directions of state policy for the development of small business in the country are identified.
