The aim of the work was to assess the level of pro-inflammatory factors - tumor necrosis-a (TNF-α), interleukin-6 (IL-6) and anti-inflammatory (IL-10) cytokines in patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS). In this work, 63 patients with ACS were examined. The patients were divided into 3 groups based on their diagnosis. Group 1 consisted of ACS patients with ST segment elevation. 2-gr was ACS without ST segment elevation. 3-gr was made up of practically healthy people. To determine the cytokine status in peripheral venous blood, we studied the concentration of pro-inflammatory cytokines - interleukin-6 (IL-6) and tumor necrosis factor (α-TNF), as well as the anti-inflammatory cytokine interleukin-10 (IL-10). The study made it possible to identify quantitative and qualitative changes in cytokine status in all patients with ACS. Activation of the pro-inflammatory cytokines TNF-α and IL-6 is simultaneously accompanied by a parallel increase in the level of the anti-inflammatory cytokine IL-10.
