The article deals with the concept of "hygiene" and its features in the hotel business. The author draws attention to the history of hygiene development in the world and modern practical application. Good accommodation conditions for guests in the hotels are coordinated by sanitary legislation, requirements of which the author covers in this article. The practical part is built from general examples of technology of maintain the sanitary and hygienic safety of guests and hotel employees. Hospitality hygiene covers the environmental focus of hoteliers' activities, the success of which is based on the professional training employees and management personnel.
