Mathematical Modeling of the Gas Dynamic Characteristics of a Radial-Axial Turbine

Numerical simulation of the gas dynamic characteristics of a radial-axial turbine of an internal combustion engine boost unit has been performed using computational gas dynamics methods. The influence of the parameters of the computational grid and the choice of the turbulence model on the results of numerical modeling is investigated. Recommendations are formulated for setting up the computational model, ensuring the best match of the numerical simulation results with the data of the field experiment.
