Mathematical description of the separation process of bulk material into fractions in a grain cleaning device

Modern farms independently process grain material. There is a need for a device capable of cleaning grain material with minimal energy consumption. Currently, there are gravitation-based grain cleaning devices that purify grain of grain material particles without consuming electricity. An energy-saving device is designed, which differs from all the existing ones. It has side channels in which fine impurity particles are separated from grain material using gravity forces. It allows to reduce the height of the grain cleaner. The article describes the process of separation of grain mixture components in terms of mathematics. The resulting mathematical model adequately describes the process and is needed for calculating the basic parameters of the device.
