Matrimonial strategies of youth as an object of sociological analysis

This article examines the essence of the matrimonial strategies of youth. Matrimonial strategies have a certain structure and, at the same time, the youth age involves the implementation of certain stages of matrimonial strategies related primarily to the formation of matrimonial attitudes, motives and values, secondly, with the choice of a marriage partner and the definition of the form of marital relations, thirdly, with the creation of a family, fourthly, with the birth of children. All stages of matrimonial strategies are considered from both a theoretical and an empirical point of view. Not only the theoretical justification of all stages is given, but also the analysis of the empirical experience of sociological research is carried out. It is concluded that it is precisely the young age that is the period where the value-motivational matrimonial complex is laid, matrimonial attitudes are formed, including on the basis of primary socialization, samples of matrimonial behavior are tried and approved.
