A comparative analysis of mediation and judicial conciliation procedures was carried out. The existing problems of regulation of the mediation procedure are revealed. The reasons for the introduction of the institution of judicial reconciliation are investigated. An assumption is made about the further development of the institution of judicial conciliation.
