Media education for preschoolers as a promising direction for improving the educational process in the preschool educational organizations

The article reveals the possibilities of using ICT in media education of preschool children on the basis of the formation of media and information literacy. Nowadays there is no developed system of means, forms and methods of using ICT by teachers during the educational process. The author considers the multimedia technologies of teaching as the integration of information, didactic and multimedia environments, which makes it possible to bring the activity of the OED to a new qualitative level, to update the content of the educational process by media education of preschoolers. In view of the urgency of the problem, media education of preschool children is singled out as one of the most promising areas for improving the educational process in the OED.
