Media education of university students in the works of the innovative teacher S. N. Penzin: theoretical and methodic aspects

The article is dedicated to the study of the media educational experience of the Russian pedagogue Nikanorovich Penzin Stal'. The media educational activity of the cinema teacher was reflected in the organization of special courses and film club sessions for students. The author has studied the basic ideas, tasks, forms of media education classes and came to the conclusion that S.N. Penzin had been an innovative teacher working in accordance with the principles of cooperation pedagogy.
