Media education activities in the national extra-school institutions of the perestroika period

the results of studying media education in the period from 1984 to 1991, which was carried out in out-of-school institutions with schoolchildren, are presented; their target and content characteristics are revealed. We have considered the media-educational experience of Y.N. Usov's film club, the tasks to which this activity was directed; the content of the main stages of work with the film at the film club.
