This article contains an overview of several film series devoted to medical topics. They are of interest to medical professionals and general public. According to our review, we can say that the television format is suitable for developing medical awareness because it teaches medical ethics, increases the general cultural level, as well as the level of medical literacy of the population. In addition, medical films can help young people correctly decide on the choice of the future profession of a doctor and attract more specialists to medicine who have decided to devote themselves to care other people.
