This article is devoted to the problem of teaching in English as intermediary languages for foreign students at the medical University. The article describes the specifics and the difficulties that arise in the process of teaching foreign students, offers ways and solutions to overcome them. Teaching in English as an intermediary language is a paramount importance for the General cultural and professional development of students, for their assimilation of professional terminology and their successful acquisition of the medical profession. The authors offer methods for optimizing the educational and adaptation process. The main task of a teacher teaching in an intermediary language is to develop modern and effective methods that reduce the interfering influence of the intermediary language, as well as to help in the process of adaptation and integration of students in a new linguistic and cultural space.
