53 patients with stressinduced cardiomyopathy caused by psychoemotional strain were examined. Medicine with metabolic effect were used to correct disturbances in these patients. ECG at rest, Bruce protocol bicycle ergometry, Holter daily monitoring, EchoCG with determination of diastolic dysfunction, cardiac singlephoton emission computed tomography (SPECT) with radiopharmaceutical agent Myoview (Nycomed, England) were applied to estimate an efficiency of treatment. A conclusion about the efficiency of metabolic medicines - olifen, mildronat, simvastatin in treatment of metabolic impairment of myocardium was made.
