Genetical and epidemiological aspects of upper lip and palate cleft of children in Yakutia

Based on perspective and retrospective analysis of the chosen clinical material of 2000-2006 years We got clinical-statistical and medical-genetic data on connate cleft of an upper lip and cleft palate of children in Republic Sakha (Yakutia). The received results show a high level of prevalence of such pathology in the region. Thus, the certain pathology expressiveness levels, structural distinctions and sexual distinctions are revealed. The medical-genetic characteristic includes presence of syndromes and hereditary factors at surveyed.
