There have been studies of the mechanical properties of tracheal scaffolds based on polymer ultra-fiberous material reinforced polyurethane semirings. It was found no significant differences in the strength and flexibility between synthetic matrix and native trachea. Developed technological approaches using electrospinning and thermo-pressing techniques allows to obtain biocompatible polymer-based medical supplies tracheal matrices by their configurational, structural and mechanical properties similar to those of native trachea.
