Mechanisms of social regulation of labor longevity: theoretical and methodological aspect

The article examines the conceptual foundations of labor longevity as a key aspect of modern socio-economic policy in the context of population aging and increasing life expectancy. The main factors and approaches influencing the prolongation of the labor activity of citizens of older age groups are highlighted, and the importance of an interdisciplinary analysis of this problem is emphasized. Special attention is paid to various social mechanisms for regulating labor longevity, including legislative, corporate, educational, medical, and public initiatives. The author focuses on the need for an integrated approach that ensures the creation of favorable conditions for continuing the professional activities of older workers. Achievements in the field of social regulation of labor longevity are noted, but shortcomings and barriers limiting the effectiveness of existing mechanisms are also highlighted. Based on the analysis, recommendations have been formulated aimed at improving the coordination of efforts of various stakeholders and increasing the accessibility of the proposed measures.
