Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) is one of the most important structural and functional components of the central nervous system. The decrease in its contents in a brain accompanying aging processes is often connected with cognitive deficiency and development of neurodegenerate diseases. A research objective - an assessment the influence of DHA on cognitive functions at the peripheral induced neuroinflammation. Experiment was made on mice males age by 3 months. DHA entered orally in the form of ethyl air within 6 weeks in a dosage 200 mkg/kg. Lack of decrease in an indicator of working memory in group of the animals receiving DHA at induction of a neuroinflammation is shown. Decrease in an expression of GF AP proteins and IL-1beta at a neuroinflammation under the influence of DHA is established.
