The article presents the results of crumb rubber property studies, activated by mechanical and chemical way to modify road bitumen. A model matrix of V-14 industrial rubber stamps was used to study the properties of mechanically activated crumb rubber. The effectiveness of a mechanically activated rubber crumb modification as an elastomeric matrix and bitumen is shown.
