The translator’s work in the modern world is becoming a market-oriented professional occupation, which requires application of unified standards for quality assurance and implementation of translations in a short time. The authors of the article demonstrate the experience of the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication at VolSU in modernizing the process of translators’ training and the use of Translation Systems. This article also characterizes modern approaches to organization and management of a translation project, especially the use of modern software to optimize the translation process and the results of developing a model of translation projects management based on the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication.
