Mental health is one of the aspects of overall health, which also includes physical and social well-being. Individual is a whole, so is the health. Certain aspects of health are in continuous interaction and cannot be mutually excluded. Mentally healthy person is the one without psychiatric illness, possessing a good general condition and being most of the time satisfied with his/her own functioning, a person who operates in his/her full intellectual, physical and emotional capacity, who has a good adaptive capacity and a good strength of Ego. One of the primary basic mainstays of the personality is human body. Newborn expresses himself/herself through his/her body from birth. Through physical manifestation, human develops, expresses his/her needs and feelings, communicates with others. Physical activity is a requirement for good health. Physical exercise can have healing effects on certain mental health disorders, particularly on affective disorders. Exercise and physical activity are great supplements to other forms of therapy in case of serious mental disorders and illness.
