Messengers in the information field of the educational process (among medical students)

The article analyzes the role of messengers in the educational process, the scope of their application, advantages and disadvantages in informing students in the post-COVID period based on a survey of junior students of the Amur State Medical Academy. Modern students are in a saturated information field, use various Internet resources, and consume a large amount of digital content. The special attention is paid to the application - Telegram, the authors turn to the experience of using other messengers. Various Internet communication channels are used not only for organizing and implementing educational work, but also for media coverage of the academy's activities. These surveys show the wide involvement of students in communication via messengers, both among themselves and with teachers, ease of use for students and a desire to expand their use among students. The results obtained allow us to adjust their application and determine further directions for developing the use of messengers in a medical university.
