The place of differentiated learning in the modernization of education

The article clarifies the goals and content of the modernization of domestic general secondary education in connection with the idea of an alternative vector of change. At the same time, differentiated learning is revealed as one of the most important parts of the process of synchronizing education with social development at the present stage. Differentiation and individualization of the educational process are presented as a response to the challenges of the information society and a condition for turning education into a driving force of progressive development.
