Students’ environmental values in the system of social values

The article carries out a research of students’ environmental values in the system of social values. The undertaken study shows that currently in the students’ social values hierarchy there predominate such values as family, health, education. After all, healthy environment, the lack of which makes implementation of all the rest values impossible, ranks the 8 th place leaving behind just religious and spiritual values and national and global culture. The research results indicate the poor position of the environmental values in the social values hierarchy, but as far as the students’ environmental competence is improved their attitude to the environmental values changes as well.
