Loan-words position in modern German

The purpose of this article is the analysis of borrowings in the modern German language. On the material 6 articles from online publications studied modern trends in the penetration of borrowing in the German language: the prevalence of English words, the penetration of borrowing in different language levels, massive borrowing. The results of the study formulated the conclusion that at the turn of XX-XXI centuries the English words displace German word of the German language; but today we can speak of a gradual occurrence of English loan words in German lexical system; English to German come not only English words, but also words from other languages, resulting in a layer of the international vocabulary in German and equally to its internationalization; foreign borrowings tend to inclusion in the derivational system of the German language: borrowed word may be connected with the German word-formation elements, with the German Foundation or with another stolen base, forming a hybrid tokens; in contrast to earlier stages in the development of language borrowing in the twenty-first century are used in all areas and almost all native speakers.
