Metaphor as a cognitive mechanism of forming of axiological concepts

The article deals with cognitive foundations of metaphor as well as with the ways of representing of axiological concepts. The article discusses the idea of representing lexical polysemy as a conceptual network. The focus is on its role in forming of different types of axiological concepts. Methodological principle of metaphorization is suggested as an idea of semantic transformation semantic and evaluative potential of key lexems of concepts.
