Metaphor in audiovisual translation: actual problems

This article is devoted to the study of the peculiarities of metaphor transmission in audiovisual translation. The concept and types of audiovisual translation, the concept of metaphor, methods of transmission are considered. Based on the analysis of the original (German-language) and translated (Russian-language) versions of the documentary "Russland von oben" \ "Russia from Above", the tasks and difficulties of the interpreter of transmitting metaphors in audiovisual content were determined.
