The article is devoted to the study of linguistic tools used for representation of concept «life» in Virginia Woolf's novel «To the Lighthouse» with the aim to define their roles in formation of the meaning of text structure. The matter of concept is represented by the set of semantic features that can be correlated with the individual-author's world view.
