“Case study” method in foreign language teaching in pedagogical universities

The article touches upon the issue of language training of future specialists aimed at developing professionally oriented language competences. The “Case Study” method is regarded as an effective means of teaching a professional foreign language in a non-linguistic institution. The experience of implementation of the case method on economic specialties of a pedagogical high school is presented.
