Methodical aspects of formation of civil-patriotic competence of students in history lessons

This article is devoted to the problem of the formation of citizenship and patriotism of schoolchildren at the present stage. The article determines the significant role of humanitarian subjects and especially Russian history in the process of forming these personal qualities. The author sets out methodological techniques aimed at developing the civil-patriotic competence of pupils, developed and applied by him among pupils of 9th grade. The effectiveness of their use in the article is confirmed by questionnaire data.
