The article analyzes the methodological aspects of teaching concepts in lessons in secondary and senior secondary schools. The most effective and modern methods of teaching are considered, which make it possible to ensure the availability of material representing vocabulary that verbalizes the concept of “woman". In connection with the individual psycho-emotional characteristics of students in middle and high school, the application of the video-modeling method and the compilation of mind-maps or connection diagrams were presented. The article examines these methods and their advantages in the process of teaching vocabulary representing the concept of “woman".
