Methodological aspects of organizing and conducting training work with the national rugby-7 team in the educational organization of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia

The article discusses some issues related to the organization of the rugby-7 section in educational organizations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, the conduct of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs rugby-7 championships among higher educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, the benefits of rugby lessons for the physical and mental health of a police officer. Using the example of rugby, the influence of game sports on the development of the basic physical qualities inherent in an ATS employee, such as strength, speed, agility and endurance, is analyzed. Attention is paid to various safety aspects related to increased injuries in rugby-7 classes. Recommendations for practicing this sport are presented, taking into account the individual characteristics of cadets and trainees. It is concluded that the development of rugby-7 in educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia is an important factor in the formation and sustainable development of the personality of a police officer.
