Methodological aspects of developing intercultural communicative competence of future law enforcement officers

The relevance of the study is dictated by the development at the present stage of intercultural information interaction in various spheres of public life. Strengthening intercultural interaction, in addition to cultural exchanges, simultaneously leads to the risks of interethnic conflicts, the formation of nationalist sentiments, and tension in the relationships between representatives of different peoples, ethnic groups and subcultures. From this point of view, this problem directly affects the law enforcement sphere, and therefore the training of specialists capable of preventing intercultural conflicts and successfully interacting with representatives of different ethnic cultures in future professional activities acquires special significance. The purpose is to study the experience of intercultural interaction of students studying in an enlarged group of specialties and areas of training Jurisprudence, and to reveal methodological aspects of the development of intercultural communicative competence of future law enforcement officers. Methodology (materials and methods). The methodological basis of the study was the provisions of the linguoculturological approach, which allows us to take into account the connection between culture and language, which is embodied in the transfer of cultural information in the process of speech communication, dialogue communication between representatives of different cultures. To achieve this goal, a complex of research methods was used: theoretical (analysis of scientific literature on the research topic, generalization, systematization, comparison), empirical (survey, observation, method of interpreting survey results). The results of the study are presented by revealing the essence of the concept of “intercultural communicative competence”. Taking into account the results of a survey of students, effective forms and methods used in educational activities aimed at developing the intercultural communicative competence of future law enforcement officers were identified, using the example of the academic discipline “Lawyer Speech Culture”.
