The factors defining the need to train teachers for projecting the curriculum via distance technologies are revealed. Methodological bases of training teachers presented in the speciality course “Projecting distance education technologies is the curriculum of a modern higher school” are discussed. The logic and content of block module structure in the speciality course program, that makes it possible to model individual learning paths, take into account the interests and readiness of the teachers for projecting and implementation of distance education technologies in the higher school curriculum are explained.
