Studying the features of multimedia tools and their resources, the article distinguishes two components of multimedia technologies - hardware and computer presentations, and structures their content. The author describes methodological features of multimedia tools application at the computer science lesson. The paper presents a plan of the "Multimedia Presentation" course aimed at development of students' competences in the field of information and communication technology by means of project activities.
