The Latin language course is a mandatory discipline in the system of training a terminologically competent medical specialist. This article discusses the methodological features of teaching Latin in practical classes at a medical university for foreign students studying in Russian. These are citizens of Turkmenistan, Syria, Pakistan and many others for whom Russian is a foreign language. The article also focuses on the problems that foreign students have when studying the discipline and ways to optimize the learning process.
