Methods of development of academic writing skills in English

An attempt to analyze and dene the specic features of academic writing style in English is undertaken. Peculiarities of writing strategies are described. Some important considerations for successful academic writing are emphasized. Essential grammar and vocabulary rules and suggestions for improving and adopting academic writing skills in English are highlighted. It is argued that students and scholars, following the suggested writing strategies, are sure to master proper English academic writing style and develop necessary skills for writing scientic articles.
