Methods of using didactic games in training sessions in professional educational organizations

Play is the main activity of children. At the same time, it has great opportunities for teaching adults and adolescents. Various types of games can be used in the system of secondary vocational education. The article considers the essence and types of didactic games, their structural elements, describes the criteria for games and the methodology for organizing didactic games. Task games are distinguished, in which actions are performed with objects, verbal instructions for completing tasks. The structural elements of the author’s didactic games (didactic task, game task, game actions, game rules, game result) developed for classes in PM.04 «Performing work in the profession “Manicure specialist”» for students of the specialty 43.02.12 “Technology of aesthetic services”. The results of the influence of didactic games on the formation of professional knowledge and skills of students are presented.
