The formation of students’ skills of teaching computer literacy in preschool educational institution and in primary school is a necessary component in the formation of professional competence of future teachers. The article deals with the methods of studying the content block “Algorithmic models”, the elements of which are aimed at fulfilling the following tasks: the formation of students’ ability to apply modern information techniques and technologies to ensure the quality of the educational process in and; the formation of a system of methodological knowledge and skills necessary for future professional activity; the provision of conditions for the activation of student’s cognitive activity; the stimulation of independent activities for the development of the content of the block issues and the formation of the necessary competencies.
