Methods of teaching and formation of ethnocultural competence of students in Russian language and reading lessons in elementary school

The article examines the peculiarities of teaching methods and the formation of ethnocultural competence of primary school students in the process of teaching Russian and reading. The emphasis is placed on the importance of taking into account the age characteristics of children, as well as on methods that promote respect for the diversity of cultures. Various approaches to teaching are considered, which include the use of folk tales and folklore as the main material for the transmission of ethnocultural knowledge. The key methods and technologies aimed at deepening the understanding of cultural traditions, as well as the peculiarities of their adaptation for primary school children, are investigated. The article also provides examples of teaching methods in both Russian and Kyrgyz, as well as discusses practical recommendations for teachers.
