The paper considers method of assessment of the organization's staff through the establishment of the Assessment center. This method can serve as a tool to assess staff recruitment, career planning an incumbent, its development, formation of reserve and you can use this method as a way to optimize the strength to keep working in the organization “best of the best”. The aim is to increase the efficiency of employees and enhance the effectiveness of the organization in a whole. The paper reveals the essence of the method of the assessment center, its principles, features, stages and tools. The types of competencies are analyzed for using as the evaluation criteria of the employees of the organization. Stages of realization of this method and the methodology of work at each stage have been developed in the process. Fdvantages and disadvantages of this technique are revealed. The prospects of using this method are analyzed with the aim of improving the efficiency of personnel management.
