A technique for constructing a parametric 3D model of a worm-spline milling cutter in T-Flex CAD

Бесплатный доступ

The article discusses the technique of constructing a parametric 3D model of a worm-spline milling cutter, shows the prospects of introducing parameterization when creating 3D models. In the first stage, a solution to the problem of profiling the cutting part of the tooth profile of the tool by running a 3D profile of a straight-through spline shaft around its axis without slipping using parameterization is demonstrated. In the second stage, modeling of the body of a worm-spline milling cutter is shown. The implementation of the result of solving the problem of profiling the cutting part of the milling cutter and its positioning using the local coordinate system of the LSC, relative to the tool itself, is also considered.
