Methods of using mobile applications in the structure of extracurricular activities in adaptive physical education

The relevance of the topic in the context of the state strategy for the digital transformation of education and physical education is emphasized. An algorithm for teaching students the basics of using mobile applications (stopwatch, camera for photo and video shooting, voice recorder, notebook, calculator) to solve pedagogical problems of physical education of a wide contingent of students, including students with mild intellectual disabilities is presented. Methodological features of using available mobile applications in extracurricular physical education classes for students of secondary vocational education with mental disabilities are considered. The need to integrate available digital tools into the educational process aimed at developing the skills of self-control, self-organization and speech activity in students with special educational needs is substantiated. The results of a pilot study are presented, within the framework of which the author’s methodological approaches to mastering the functionality of digital applications in the process of motor activity were tested. Particular attention is paid to the step-by-step organization of training, including the introduction, step-by-step mastering and formation of sustainable skills of digital support of motor activity. The structure of the developed methodological support and its universality for various organizational forms of classes and age categories are described. A conclusion is made about the possibility of moving to the organization of experimental work in order to determine the impact of the developed methods on the level of involvement of students with mental disabilities in physical education and sports activities.
