Technique of application of visual modelling in the general biology school course

The merits of the sign system are examined in the article, some of their aspects using to the teaching of biology are analyzed, the main principles of project of sign system in the conditions of the passage of school to the federal state standards of the second generation. The effect of created sign system using of which promotes to raise the quality of biology knowledge of pupils, increases the level of adopting biology concepts.
