The authors have established the dependence of the quality of the foam concrete mixture on the geometric parameters and operating modes of turbulent mixers. The article discusses a methodological approach to calculating the parameters of turbulent mixers. An algorithm for the selection of rational parameters and optimal operating modes of the foam concrete mixer is described. As a result, the data obtained were used to determine the power consumption of the mixer for mixing the foam concrete mixture. An example of calculating a mixer with a mixing volume of 1 m3 of foam concrete, selection of the type of activator, rotation speed of the activator and mixing time of the foam concrete mixture is given. As a result of the calculation and selection of rational geometric parameters of the turbulent mixer with the volume of the finished batch and operating modes, the power consumption of the mixer was calculated. Rational indicators of foam concrete mix and finished products were obtained. The results of statistical processing of batches of products of different density are presented. The absolute value of shrinkage did not exceed 1.5 mm / m, which can be explained by the technological features of the production of foam concrete by a one-stage technology, when, with simultaneous mixing and air entrainment, the process of self-organization of the structure of the foam cement mass is taking place. A visual analysis of the surface of foam concrete products that have worked for three years without external plaster in natural conditions, allows us to state the high deformation resistance and crack resistance of the material.
