Methodology of integrated development of attention properties in young football players considering the requirements of competitive activity

The article is dedicated to the development and experimental verification of a methodology for the integrated development of attention properties in young football players, taking into account the demands of competitive activity. The relevance of enhancing higher mental functions for successful performance in high-dynamic conditions and with limited time for decision-making is substantiated. The study involved 36 football players aged 10–11 years, divided into experimental and control groups. The methodology included the integration of attention-development exercises into the training process. The results of the formative experiment showed a significant improvement in concentration, switching, stability, and attention distribution in the experimental group compared to the control group. The conclusion is made regarding the high effectiveness of the proposed approach in improving the quality of young football players' training and their game results.
