The analysis of the problem of the choice of basic methodological approaches to the research of the spiritual education of Music teacher is given. The necessity of relative division of methodological approaches to the theoretical and practical solution of the problem is justified, the opportunities of each approach are disclosed. Their interaction is shown which allows to imagine the results of the research in the whole.
