Based on the transition to humanitarian pedagogy, professional development of teachers is still considered a priority idea of innovative transformations. The process of organizing professional development of teaching staff consists in organizing active collective forms of education. The study of this updated process requires, first of all, the definition of the methodological approach on which it is based. The importance of research methodology lies in the fact that it helps to plan research and clearly document scientific work from beginning to end. Also, the research methodology allows you to understand the methods used in the study. In this regard, the need to master the methodology arises already at the first stage of the study of the issue of improving pedagogical qualifications. This article discusses the methodology, methods and approaches to teacher training.
