Methodology culturological analysis: from narrow to broad approach

The article attempts to consider the methodology culturological analysis from the point of view of two approaches: narrow and wide. The structural series of the main elements of the model of the methodological approach in scientific research is put forward; their content is considered through the network of constituent parts of research work in the format of a dissertation and author’s abstract; specific examples of methodological incorrectness are analyzed; substantiates the concept of “methodological culture”; the methodology for the selection of methods of scientific analysis and the methodological logic of building a system of methods of scientific research associated, inter alia, with “methodological competence”.
